future walk: harpsichord DJ
is a collaborative project that suggests a new AR feature for Berlin’s Museum of Musical Instruments’ AR app, titled Future Walk.
The app follows Future Walk’s adventure arc and invites the user to find a lost harpsichord in the museum. After finding the harpsichord, the user gets to play DJ and mix their own musical composition using snippets of harpsichord music from different genres. As they compose their piece, a majestic garden appears around them. The app reveals how omnipresent harpsichord music really is, even in the modern music industry!
