You are not here is a durational interactive installation that explores the experience of being misrepresented or omitted from typical maps. It invites audiences to engage in counter-mapping by pinning locations on an interactive map. The map has no labels, and the pins are not geo-tagged but placed in a grid over the traditional map.
As time passes, the pins gradually eat away at the original map, creating a new version that no longer relies on the optics of colonial mapping.
